appointment has focused on the 'missing persons' - missing persons: a theme that he's working on the structure of the Prefect and the Monaco Red Cross Movement has identified in its mission.
The Italian Red Cross has reported on an activity that carries over half a century, through the Office of Research Services International Affairs, part of the network of the Central Tracing Agency of the ICRC.

It is feared the worst epidemic of the last 10 years
Fourteen African countries are under threat of a possible epidemic of meningitis, "the worst in the last 10 years", according to what the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
"The first signs of the epidemic could occur in February or March of 2008," assures the document, taken dela English newspaper El Mundo. The countries have threatened Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger, Mali, Chad, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo and Benin.
"Meningitis - said the humanitarian organization based in Geneva - is a difficult disease to diagnose and early symptoms such as headache or fever, are similar to those of other disorders." For this reason it is necessary to sensitize the population likely to be infected if the epidemic were to really explode, "says Encho Gospodinova, an official of the Red Cross.

Today has gone a rescue volunteers, a "boy" of the hinterland Senigallia and always in the forefront.
He left quietly in the night between Christmas and Boxing Day. His heart condition did not last longer this time and so has had enough.

was held in Rome on 19 December the 27th Meeting of the National Executive Council of the Italian Red Cross.
The National Executive Council after a thorough analysis and debate, voted to approve the settlement of the 2007 budget and, unable to approve the budget estimates for 2008, to request authorization to Ministries Watchers provisional, after analyzing the first draft of the 2008 budget.

The CDN considers that it should give maximum emphasis to the celebrations planned for the centennial (1908-2008) the establishment of the Nurse Corps Volunteers.

- the change in the composition of the Board of Directors of the Regional Committee of the Red Cross Friuli Venezia Giulia;
- the change in the composition of the Executive Committees of Provincial CRI: Grosseto and Rome;
- the change in the composition of the Board of Local Committees CRI of: • Correggio (RE) · Forlimpopoli - Bertinoro (FOR), · Gassino Torinese (TO) · Gavorrano (GR) · Mortara (PV) · Santa Severa - Santa Marinella (RM) · Santo Stefano al Mare (RM).
