Funny To Write On Cake

Seriously, Mr. Lanvin? When it's cold

picture from The Blonde Salad

. The world has passed the H & Mageddon free, apparently. The press has been satisfied, the bloggers have to enter into, but apparently, the whole thing did not touch too much non-bloggers, non-followers-of-bloggers and non-experts. And the gentlemen.
. Personally, I do not regret being left empty-handed. Exaggerated price for a quality that, frankly, not worthy or Lanvin or H & M (you know, the edges are made specifically cleaved, blah blah, but honestly I do not feel in a chic evening gown frayed). We admit that there has been some effort by the creative point of view (not much, since Monsieur Elbaz has opted to stay on safe ground and walk paths already), but I would like to see how many of the daughters who braved the weather and the wickedness of which is capable of the human race in such cases will this dress or this dress more than once. Seriously. And doing a mini-survey on the side garçons, the result is clear: NO, thanks.
. On the other hand, appreciate the fact that the fee will cover staff of Albert Elbaz UNICEF, and that Monsieur has also auctioned five sketches, the proceeds of which will be equally allocated to the association in defense of children.
. Now, in light of the recent collaboration between Valentino and GAP (in my personal opinion more valid duo Elbaz-H & M), a question, in fact, more question arises: Are we heading towards a version of 'populist' haute couture? It is not that the whole phenomenon of chic-for-less is heavily fueled by the crisis (and by the way, growing influence of the major bloggers on the market)?
. If, unlike me, you can not give you peace and not sleep until that suit is not will be in your hands, the good old EBay comes in handy (so to speak), you can buy pieces from the comfort of your armchair with a click, and an increase in average price is around 245% (the calculations hand!) for a dress (from $ 199 at an average price of $ 489) or by 368% for accessories (sunglasses from £ 19 to £ 80). Have fun.

EN. . The world has the H & surviveded Mageddon, apparently. Both the press and the bloggers gone wild Have, But, on the other hand, the whole thing did Seem to Affect too much (if at all) non-bloggers, non-followers-of-bloggers and non-experts . And the gentlemen.
.Personally, I do not regret being left empty-handed. I think you won't see me walking on a red carpet for a long time. Ridiculous prices for a quality that, frankly, is not worthy of either Lanvin or H & M (I know, the hems are supposed to be frayed , blah blah, but honestly I would not feel chic in an already torn evening gown). I must admit that there has been some effort on the creative side (just some though, since Monsieur Elbaz has opted to stay on safe ground and walk on paths already walked), but I would like to see how many of the girls who braved and resisted to the non-friendly weather and the wickedness of which is capable of the human race in such cases will war this dress or this dress more than once. Seriously. And doing a mini-survey on the side garçons, the result is clear: NO, thanks.
.On the other hand, I appreciate the fact that Albert Elbaz's payment will go to Unicef, as well as five sketches that Monsieur has auctioned.
.Now, in light of the recent collaboration between Valentino and GAP (in my personal opinion more valid than the Elbaz-H&M duo), a question, or actually, more question arise: are we heading towards a 'populist' version of  haute couture? Isn't the whole phenomenon of chic-for-less heavily fueled by the crisis (and by the growing influence of the major bloggers on the market)?
.If, unlike me, you can not rest until that dress is in your hands, good old EBay comes in handy (so to speak): you can buy most of the pieces of the collection from the comfort of your armchair with a click, and an increase in average price of around 245% for a dress (from $ 199 at an average price of $ 489) or of 368% for accessories (sunglasses 19 £ to £ 80). Have fun.

FR. .Le monde a survecu l'H&Mageddon, je vois. La presse et les blogueurs sont devenus fous, mais apparemment, tout cela n'a pas trop touché les non-blogueurs, non-followers-de-blogueurs et non-experts. Et les messieurs.
. Personally, I do not regret being left empty-handed. Inflated prices for a quality that, frankly, is not worthy or Lanvin or H & M (I know, the hems are done purposely destroyed, blah blah, but honestly, I would not feel chic an evening gown frayed). I admit that there have been some efforts by the creative point of view (not much, since Mr. Elbaz has chosen to stay on safe ground and roads already traveled), but I want to see how many girls who braved the weather and the evil of which is capable of the human race in such cases will this dress or this dress more than once. Seriously. And forwards did a mini-survey among the boys side, the result is clear: NO, thank you.
. Secondly, I appreciate the fact that the personal remuneration Albert Elbaz will go to Unicef, and that gentleman has also auctioned five sketches, the proceeds will also be given to the association for the defense children.
. Now, in light of the recent collaboration between Valentino and GAP (in my opinion more valid duo Elbaz-H & M), a question, in fact, more questions arise: are we going to a version of the haute couture "populist"? Not that the phenomenon of chic-for-less is strongly driven by the crisis (and incidentally, by the growing influence of bloggers on the major market)?
. If, unlike me, you can not survive until this dress is not in your hands, the good old EBay is very handy (so to speak): you can buy pieces from the collection in the comfort of your armchair with a click, and an increase in the average price which is around 245% (calculations by hand!) for a dress (from $ 199 to an average price of $ 489) or 368 % for accessories (sunglasses 19 £ £ 80). Amusez-vous.
